Rescue story
In early August 2025, Laifu was still a tiny puppy when he was abandoned in Shanghai in 38 °C heat. Thirsty and hungry, he was thankfully rescued, but early malnutrition had left his two hind legs a little weak. We took him to the vet for checks, though there was no specific treatment to offer beyond improving his nutrition. After more than half a year living at the shelter, Laifu has been recovering gradually. He is much better now, although he can still struggle a little after running too much.
Suitable home
Suitable for a home that can continue monitoring his nutrition and activity level. Laifu is affectionate, learns quickly, and is reported to be good with dogs; he needs steady companionship and should not be given too much exercise too soon.
