How to adopt

A careful process from assessment to settling in

We want every adopted animal to join a safe, stable home that is ready for a long-term commitment.

Adoption contribution

The current adoption contribution in Europe is 350 EUR for dogs and 300 EUR for cats. This contribution is not for profit and mainly supports flights, crate, health checks, blood tests, sterilisation, customs and export preparation.

Adoption conditions

  • Adopters need stable housing, stable income, long-term residence status and a plan to remain in the country.
  • Adopters must follow local animal welfare laws and commit not to abandon, resell, abuse, breed from or casually transfer the animal.
  • Adopters need to cover daily care costs, including food, vaccination, worming treatment, basic veterinary care, grooming and emergencies.
  • Cat homes need secure windows. Dogs must be walked on lead and live in a safe, stable environment.
  • All household members should agree to the adoption and understand the long-term responsibility.

Step 1

Choose and contact

Browse animal profiles, photos, videos, temperament notes, health information and behaviour assessments. Interested adopters can then provide basic information.

Step 2

Online discussion

We speak by video or phone to explain the animal's current situation and understand the adopter's home, routine, household members and animal care experience.

Step 3

Agreement and contribution

When the match is suitable, both sides sign an adoption agreement. The current adoption contribution in Europe is 350 EUR for dogs and 300 EUR for cats.

Step 4

Travel preparation

According to the destination requirements, we help arrange vaccines, worming treatment, health checks, blood tests, quarantine, flight documents, crate, flight planning and arrival coordination.

Step 5

Settling-in period

Animals need time to adjust. We ask adopters to understand the 3-3-3 rule: the first 3 days, first 3 weeks and first 3 months can each bring a different stage of adaptation.
